Omnes IPA was founded by CNY BHCC’s leading partners, including Helio health, Liberty resources, Upstate cerebral palsy, and Including alliance IPA. The founders of Omnes IPA span the continuum of health services including drug use, mental health, developmental disabilities, and social services.
Omnes means “all” or “everyone” in Latin. The name was chosen to reflect the values of the organization.
CNY BHCC was founded in 2018 as part of the New York Behavioral Health Value Based Payment Readiness Program. The BH VBP program created regional networks of behavioral health organizations that work together to share best practices, identify efficiencies, and coordinate care Medicaid enrolls. CNY BHCC brought together more than 35 Medicaid providers in central New York, including Cayuga, Cortland, Madison, Onondaga, and Oneida counties. Together, these organizations formed the foundation of the network by creating processes for data, quality and clinical integration.
